Duroflex mattress' 50 years of blissful sleep advertisement series on road dividers are simple and say the obvious, repeatedly, on one stretch of road to get equal attention from motorists and pedestrians. A great day follows a great night and 50 years of blissful sleep are the messages that come through board after board.
Each creative is a combination of two scenes each taking top and bottom half respectively. The top half is a day scene, shows someone feeling happy and great in a day activity and the bottom half is a night scene with them on a mattress (The picture isnt really as confusing as my interpretation is). This could have turned out to be an over-clever idea that had a bad execution, thankfully it is not so.
I pass by these on-the-road-divider outdoor ads everyday. Most times the ads on these boards are poorly done, with lots of content. An attempt to comprehend the advertisement would seem like a lot of work or a sheer waste of time, besides the only time you would get to have a decent look at them is when you are walking or if you have stopped for a red light and If there is lot of content and assuming it appealed at first glance, there isnt enough time to completely read it.
So one fine day when you run into ads like these it comes as a pleasant suprise!
