Its almost traditional for the two big fizz brands to clash around this time of the year. Right after Coke's 'Haan Main Crazy Hu' comes Pepsi's 'Oh Yes Abhi' with huge star power - Dhoni, Priyanka and Ranbir.
This one however went right over my head. Seems like they just could not come up with anything decent and decided to wing it. Put in lots of important people, and the audience will bite it. Will they?
'Oh Yes Abhi' means very little after you see the ad. There is nothing particularly inspirational or 'enjoy the moment' sorts in the sequences they show. Coke's ad for the season at least has a certain charm to it and a message that I understand, and one could relate to. The Pepsi ad seems to want to start with a bang, but ends up with whimper. Buck up Pepsi!
